Artistic Aire is a decorative painting company specializing in mural work, faux finishing, and custom fine art. Owner, Lauren Klose, and her husband, Rob Knox, have recently gained some recognition from Jacksonville and Dogster Magazines for their unique pet portraits. They offer three options for the portraits including a 2x2' or 3x3' all hand-painted piece or a 2x3' (or smaller) graphic rendering printed to canvas with hand-painted embellishments. All pieces are 100% customizable. Lauren and her family live in Ponte Vedra, Florida, but their portraits can be shipped anywhere!
Lauren was born in New Jersey and moved to Northern Virginia when she was five where she then resided for 26 years before moving down to Florida. She studied fine art and graphic design at James Madison University and studied abroad in 2001 in Florence, Italy at The British Institute. After graduating, Lauren took an internship in McLean, Virginia where she perfected the art of faux finishing and mural work. She then branched off to start her own business in 2003, Artistic Aire, which alongside Lauren has grown to encompass not only her artistic endeavors but also her musical ones as a piano teacher.
Lauren is a tenacious individual, a devoted mother, an artist, a pianist, and an avid tennis player and yogi. In her free time she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her friends and family.
